You shouldn't go with young children Since the starter came with the children's dishes. That was so agreed so far so good. But that we then had to wait an hour for our main course was not possible, especially since the time window. From 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. it was quite small and we had to hurry to eat ;-( were only outside the restaurant at 7:15 p.m. because you didn't want to swallow the food either ;-(

I only rate the hotel. Some furnishings have seen better days, paper was used to level the floor under the feet of some cupboards. This choice seems a little unfortunate to me. The beds creak a bit when you use them. Well, for the price you can't expect much more here on the island.

Very nice ambience and very friendly staff. Pizza and pasta were just great and hardly manageable in portions. Unfortunately, after 20 minutes we had to ask for the drinks we had ordered, a short time later our drinks came and a prompt apology. It was very crowded, breakdowns can unfortunately always happen, but professional service is evident here. Thanks for the successful dinner. We can only recommend the restaurant!

Very tasty Italian food. We were there as a family at lunchtime. Service courteous and very friendly. The ambience is extremely cozy and stylish. There is a large selection of wines that are also sold on site. Gluten-free pasta, gluten-free bread and gluten-free pizza are available.

Wanted to go out for an Italian meal out of the row of the whole fish while on vacation. Very stylish ambience, extremely friendly and courteous service and the food is simply terrific: fresh and really well prepared! Highly recommended (if you don't want fish 😉).

One of the best Italians we have ever dined at. Sensational wine list, very nice staff and of course excellent food! All special requests were taken into account and the homemade pasta is a dream. We went to the Antico Borgo twice in a week and will definitely be back again. Thank you for the great evenings :-)

This is a very nice hotel absolute in the centre of Burg, Fehmarn, Germany. Moderate prices

We have always been very enthusiastic so far, but the pizza is more dough than topping and I found it very annoying that I asked for a fresh noodle dish with beef steak, please do without the meat, the waiter suggests no problem, costs a little less and then they were for noodles with fried mushrooms in truffle cream sauce 16, ... € billed ... really now? And not even a little grated truffle over it, that ruined my evening! The taste was very spicy but good.

Nice restaurant with a stylish interior. The service staff is really friendly and always there when you need something. The food was very tasty and visually beautifully presented and portions that fill you up. The price-performance ratio is absolutely fair. We were there for the first time yesterday and would love to come back. Update from today, 09/12/2020: After it was so beautiful the day before yesterday, we had made another reservation for today. Unfortunately, it wasn't as great today as expected. At first our table was taken twice. They looked for an alternative and we got a corner at a larger table. Not particularly cozy, there right at the entrance, but at least a place. Then a piece of fish was still raw inside my fish platter from the grill, but this was quickly remedied. Otherwise everything was good in terms of appearance and taste. The service seemed a little stressed today. To be fair, it has to be said that there was also a lot of people, but compared to last time, it wasn't that nice today.

Everything fits, nice reception. Great atmosphere, super friendly and attentive service. The food was served quickly and was first class. Handmade black spaghetti with prawns and salmon, a large fish platter with rosemary potatoes and vegetables. A dream.......

Have been eating at Borgo Antico for several years in a row. Pizza, pasta and especially the special burger are awesome. Staff is very friendly and humorous. Starters and desserts are of the highest quality in terms of taste. The presentation of the dishes is also very appealing. Prices are absolutely fair. All in all the best Italian restaurant I know!

We were here for the first time and loved it. The food was delicious, one of the best Italians we have ever eaten. It wasn't the last time. The service was a dream, you can tell the Italian mentality. Insane selection of quality Italian wines. We recommend.

A very clear recommendation if you are on Fehmarn, not only the restaurant is visually very inviting, the service is absolutely perfect. Very courteous and fast ... Here the customer is king and you can tell. Even if a guest in the local situation enters the restaurant without a face mask, he is politely advised that there is no other way than to obey the request. The food is in a class of its own, a great pizza that is second to none. We will definitely come back here.

An old city hotel, but renovated not too long ago. With clean, appealingly furnished rooms. Unfortunately no breakfast. But a very delicious dinner in the restaurant. Despite the distance rule, you could sit very well on the terrace and enjoy the evening.

We visit our favorite Italian every year when we go on vacation on Fehmarn. We can hardly wait every time because it is by far the BEST! We understand good cuisine and can say that excellent chefs work here at Borgo Antico. We have tried many of the restaurant's dishes and are thrilled every time. Everything is prepared with love, fresh ingredients and original Italian passion. Not only a real treat for the palate, but also appealing to the eye. We love the ambience and the staff is always very friendly, attentive and courteous. Everything is just right here. Authentic. An excellent Italian restaurant! Attentive service, good selection of "real" Italian dishes and a nice atmosphere. The food came quickly and yet there was never a rush and it tasted excellent and was more than sufficient. Overall definitely worth a recommendation!

To make it short, H A M M E R! The whole family was thrilled, pizza big, handmade, fresh ingredients, really spicy. The service quick and courteous, even the prices absolutely reasonable. Pizza inferno, very spicy and super tasty. Fresh homemade pasta, hammer. Certainly not the last time. Be sure to keep going!

We got to this reataurant at late lunch time, shortly before they were going to close the kitchen. Not only did they serve us and were really polite and friendly, they also didn't give us the feeling we were taking too long or anything. The food is delicious! The portions are huge! The only thing that was missing was bread before the meal, but otherwise we had an absolutly perfect time!! We will be back!

Great Service

Food is ok and staff rather friendly BUT given the very high rating (4.8 - 112 reviews at the time of the visit), we were expecting much more. My account has not been hacked and I am a serious reviewer (check my profile). I travelled 2 months around Europe and could not find any restaurant with such high ratings. Hence I let you read some other negative comments (as well as the reaction of the owner) and let you draw your own conclusions.

We came with two children. The staff simply ignored us, we left the place without being asked why we came. Shame! Update: After I published this review, I received a very arrogant answer from the restaurant stating that I'm doing a fake report and that nothing similar happened, what I described. Let's say, some service provider which makes a mistake, normaly does say "Apologies" and is inquiring for some detailed feedback to improve the service. Now I just want to remember the staff: We were the family with the red baby carriage and sat patiently indoor next to the window. So warning to all families with little children!

Super! Stayed at the hotel and really loved the big and still cozy rooms. When it was time for dinner, the staff really did some extra efforts and arranged a table for all four of us in basically no time. The food was extraordinary good and the service was perfect. I really loved this place, and will absolutely come back for more visits! <3
